CMV teaches young people the skills that will be fundamental to all of their endeavours beyond the trail – in school, at home, in their communities, and in their careers.
All funds raised will first be applied to our need-based scholarship fund.
Any funds raised beyond what is necessary for our scholarship program will be used to cover the costs as CMV bridges to sustainability.

CMV uses a tiered sliding scale based on household size and annual gross income as a percentage of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), as published annually by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Over the next 18-24 months CMV will be building out year round programming, in order to better serve the young people in our community.
At the point of sustainability, program fees will be sufficient to support the organization year round.
CMV will serve 30-40 kids in 2026. To reach sustainability we will increase this number by 4-5 times.

CMV is currently exploring a variety of opportunities for activities during the colder months. We will be polling the families that are already involved in CMV programs to see what they may be interested in.
The team is excited about potential skiing, snowshoeing, and winter basecamping trips, as well as day activities that may include orienteering courses, camp skills, and team building activities.
